Each
year, the state of California lets schools know what is expected of
them in the area of student academic growth. Last year, Haskell was
expected to increase our Academic Performance Index (API) score from 770
to 775. But through hard work and dedication from our entire school
community; parents, students, teachers, and support staff, Haskell's API jumped 19 points to a score of 790!
We
are very proud of our growth, particularly in the growth of each
individual student at Haskell. Ninety-five (95) percent of Haskell's
students improved their score in Language Arts, and Ninety (90) percent
improved their score mathematics. Schoolwide, our science and social
studies scores increased significantly.
However,
we are not satisfied! We will continue to work together with you to
make sure each and every one of our students improves. Be an active participant in your child's learning!
